Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026 · Version 2026-10-26.v1
What Helena collects
Your account email and first name; the conversations you have with Helena; the Dating DNA attributes generated from those conversations; and the memories Helena extracts, which you can review at any time under “What Helena Knows.” We also record which versions of our Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted, and when.
How it is used
Your conversations, Dating DNA, and active memories are used to personalize Helena’s responses to you. AI processing is performed by Anthropic (Claude) under a server-side integration; your data is never sent from your browser directly to an AI provider, and provider keys are never exposed to client code.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your private conversations. Memories you mark sensitive are always kept private and are never eligible for any future matchmaking use. Deleted memories are soft-deleted and are never again used in conversations, ranking, or retrieval.
Your controls
You can review, edit, or delete memories and Dating DNA attributes at any time in the app. Deleting a memory removes it from Helena’s context immediately. You may request full account deletion by contacting support; account deletion removes your profile, conversations, DNA, and memories.
Security
Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security: every record is scoped to your user ID and no other user can read it. Access is authenticated, and administrative access is limited to server-side operations required to run the service.
Age requirement
Helena is for adults 18 and older only. By creating an account — by email or Google — you attest that you are at least 18.
Changes
If this policy materially changes, the version number above changes and you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use Helena.
